Peanuts Buttercream Waffle Cake
Mini waffles stacked with reach peanut buttercream frosting make a fun, easy, and indulgent cake perfect for dessert or special treat.
Ingredients
For the Waffles:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Peanut Buttercream
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk ( as needed for consistency)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Make the Waffles
- Preheat your mini waffle maker.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In another bowl, mix egg, milk , melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Cook small waffles in the mini waffle maker until golden. Let them cool completely before frosting.
Make the Peanut Buttercream
- Beat butter and peanut butter together until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar.
- Mix in vanilla and a little milk until light and fluffy.
Assemble the Cake
- Place one waffle on a plate, spread a layer of peanut buttercream, and top with another waffle.
- Keep stacking until you get a small cake.
- Spread extra frosting on top and decorate with crushed peanuts or a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
