Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the mini waffle maker and lightly grease it.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix gently until just smooth.
  • Pour about 2-3 tablespoons batter into the mini waffle maker.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
  • Remove carefully and repeat.

Tips:

  • Don't overfill. Mini makers need less batter.
  • For crispier waffles, cook 20-30 seconds longer.
  • Keep cooked waffles warm in a low oven if making a batch.
