Ingredients

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup cold butter, cut into small chunks
  • Pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold butter and cut it into the dry ingredients using a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture looks crumbly.
  • Pour in the milk and bring the dough together. Mix until it forms a soft, workable dough.
  • Dust your counter with a little flour and roll the dough to about ½ inch thickness. Cut out 3-inch circles using a biscuit or cookie cutter.
  • Carefully slice each circle horizontally to create a pocket. Fill each one with pepperoni and shredded mozzarella. Press the edges firmly to seal so the filling doesn’t leak during cooking.
  • Preheat your Mini Waffle Maker and lightly coat it with oil. Place a filled biscuit pocket inside, close the lid, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the pocket turns golden and crisp. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy a simple, cheesy pizza bite.
