Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pack of wonton wrappers
  • 1 ¾ pounds ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 5 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage

Instructions

  • Add the ground pork, ginger, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg and cabbage to a large bowl. Mix until the filling is fully combined.
  • Place one wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Add a small spoonful of filling to the center.
  • Brush the edges of the wrapper with a little water. Fold and press to seal tightly. You can pleat the edges if you prefer.
  • Line your steamer with parchment or lightly oil it so the dumplings don't stick. Arrange the dumplings in a single layer with space between them.
  • Steam over boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
  • Serve with hot soy sauce, vinegar, chili crisp or your favorite dipping sauce.
