Waffle Club Sammies
Waffle Club Sammies are mini waffle sandwich filled with chicken or turkey, crispy bacon, egg, cheese, and fresh veggies. They're easy to assemble and work perfectly with a mini waffle maker. Great for quick lunches, brunch or fun snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 cup waffle batter ( enough for 4 mini waffles)
- 4-6 slices cooked chicken or turkey
- 2 strips crispy beef or turkey bacon
- 1 small egg, cooked (fried or scrambled)
- 1 slice cheese, cut into halves
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato Slice
- 1-2 teaspoons mayonnaise or any spread
- pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your mini waffle maker.
- Pour a small amount of batter inside and cook 4 mini waffles. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Spread mayo on the bottoms of 2 waffles.
- Add lettuce and tomato first so the waffle doesn't get soggy.
- Layer chicken or turkey slices, then add cheese.
- Place the cooked egg and crispy bacon on top.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper.
- Close each sandwich with the remaining waffles.
- Press lightly so everything holds together and serve warm.
Tip
- If you want the cheese to melt more, place the full sandwich back in the mini waffle maker for 10-15 seconds only.
